2026 Fort Boise Rugby Banquet in the books! Congratulation to our 3 boys' teams on an excellent spring 2026 season:

U14 boys, representing the 3 local North Boise Jr High Schools, and our 2 Boise High School teams, competing well at tier 3 development, and our state champion tier 2 boys side!

Special thanks to our greater club family who brought some food, our rugby mom, Jenna, and our coaches and volunteers. Mostly importantly, our young men whose effort and spirit of play is what makes this a special organization. Forever Brave!

Tier 2 boys win the State Championship! A well-prepared and motivated Rigby side traveled to meet our boys on the championship grass at the College of Idaho. The Royals were skilled and physical at the breakdown, with a strong counterattack. In the closing minutes it was a relentless committment to eachother that won the day with a score of 31-22.

Playoffs! Tier 2 boys semifinal vs Timberline at the home park. Wolves, always arriving with a physical and relentless contest of the gain line, brought with them no shortage of electric play from their flyhalf. A closely matched contest to the end, requiring a significant squad effort in tackling in the end to lock in the victory, with timely contributions from our reserves, hard work in training and displine paying off in the end playing with a yellow for the final 10 minutes. On to the championship match next Saturday! Special thanks to Clay Arnold for the excellent photos!

Final Match of the season for the HS boys tier 3 vs Owyhee and tier 2 vs Eagle. Some excellent young men from The Wolves filled out our Tier 3 - 12v12 side, including 2 props and 2 wings. Excellent day for running rugby in exhibition. Owyhee's ball retention and multi-phase discipline won the day at the final whistle. For the Tier 2 boys final match of the regular season vs Ealge. Eagle played hard and disciplined, but our boys demonstrated a disciplined structure that resulted in a score that did not reflect the quality of Eagle's effort.

With sun shining and Fort Boise Hot Dogs served, the boys got together for a friendly 40 minute match. A few Rocky boys played for us to round out a 15 v 15 side. Great performances all around, men of the match honors well-deserved.

Rocky visiting for a spirited tier 2 boys home match on a crisp spring morning. Early on, the day belonged to the home club, but with 2 simultaneous yellow cards, the well-coached Rocky side built a solid attack and nearly had the mustard to overcome the deficit, but in the end, the boys tightened up and locked in the W.

Tier 2 Boys in a physical test against rival Centennial. Centeniall short-handed for several minutes, but equalized by a second-half yellow card against us. The boys perservered against a late Centennial surge, but prevailed in the end.

Tier 3 Boys demonstrating strong work etic vs a robust Middleton side. Many opportunities seized by our young players both on attack and defense. The score did not reflect the close contest.

Tier 2 Boys vs a travelling Idaho Falls, inaugural home rugby match on the home pitch. Grateful to Boise HS soccer and the Athletic Department for helping these efforts. Our boys came out better on the pitch vs a well-coached and disciplined Idaho Falls side, and the fans and players loved the new grounds.

Grade 7-8 Boys fought hard against a seasoned Wolves side in their first friendly. 13 players on debut for their first Rugby match.

Tier 3 boys side showing mettle and Fort Boise never-quit mentality on the day. With 1 reserve, and playing their first match as a team, they brought it within reach in the 2nd half. Congrats to the men-of-the-match
